When I saw this website, I realized that the era of digitalization has really come. The digitalization has reached many sector of the world. Health, trade, finance, and from the website englishtips.org, is education. It proves that now, everyone become more mobile and practical, which is a good thing. When people become more mobile and practical, slowly they upgrade their life quality, and maybe they can motivate others to upgrade their life quality too. When websites like this (englishtips.org) exists, it proves the saying that say everybody could learn anywhere, anytime, with anything. Learning doesn’t have to be attending school, or other formal education, it is something you can learn anywhere, anytime, with anything, if you want it. Through this website for example, we can learn english freely with only the use of gadget and mobile data (or just use public wifi). Of course when you want to learn, you have to find the way for it, and fight for the way. Everybody need to have the responsibility for a better education. Therefore, we can build a better future for the world, especially Indonesia.

The quote Is written just underneath the main title of the page, and I could not agree more. We all need English in our lives. Especially for a millennial like me, it’s basically a requirement to master English to get accepted in a half decent office job. Despite that, a lot of people in my country still lack a basic understanding of English, especially the less fortunate. Our education system is just not good enough right now. With that being said, I really like this website, a free site where we can access a lot of English books is a superb idea. I would even recommend the Indonesian education system facilitate the students so they can access sites like this. My only critic however, is that the page design seems to be too old fashioned and everything haven’t been put neatly in order. A simple redesign would fix that.
After opening the link above, I think the website is helpful. People nowadays wanted something resourceful and instant. They want something fast and easy to access, knowing that right now our life are dominated with the usage of technology and we are more used with searching information online because its more convenient. People rarely read books by actually holding the book physically, people usually just search for the ebook because by using the ebook people can access it and read it anywhere and anytime without have to carry the book with them. They can just bring their laptops, iPad, or phones so they can read the ebook. By seeing the website above it is very informative and it offers ebooks to learn English, exactly what people nowadays are looking for. Especially knowing that English is important because it is a crucial language to master because it is used as International language, people are looking forward to learn English it is a good way to learn it and not to forget that this website offers us ebooks for free.
My first reaction, why the design of this website was very boring. Each menu is installed in an inappropriate position, the colour used is not too good to see. But come on, this website turns out to have a great function rather than just a look.

Englishtips.org makes it easy for us to learn English. This website is able to become a symbol of the combination of the importance of English with technology digitalization. In other words, learning English can be done from various sources so there is no reason for all of us not to learn English. The thing I like most about this website is the material for English profiency tests, for example: TOEFL and IELTS.
Our university has a value called "academic freedom" which means we as students are free to learn from various sources to support our academic abilities. Besides learning through books, using a website is also a pretty good solution.
Before opening the website, I thought "Wow, another illegal and useless website," I looked over the comment section and read almost all of it. Most of them all are saying the same thing. The website helps people to learn English more effectively and efficiently. It contains most of the material for learning English, including exam materials such as TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, and other English exams.
Well, I decided to open the web just to prove whether I agree with the comments or not. In the end, it really took my time as I surfed the web for hours. It doens't have an interesting design but the contents are so useful. It really does help me to learn things that I didn't know before. Even though it's illegal, but I think when we registered to the website, we paid it with our information so it means that we didn't take the materials for free. The web also really good to surfed when we have a lot of time to kill. We can have fun while learning new things that makes us smarter than before.

This website consists of so many thing such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT and many more. There is also a lot of things like Tourism and Cultures, Economics and Management, Fiction Literature and a lot of any other things. I’ve just realized that nowadays we are actually living in digital era when everything is digitalized. To do something it is way easier if we are connected to the internet. It’s a good thing actually because it can support many aspects in our life. Take that website as an example, it supports education for every person who would like to learn English and no need to take a such long time and much effort to reach that purpose. We do not have to be worry anymore if we don’t have enough time to take English Course. If we take the course, we will have to go to the course every week which maybe it will take our time. By learning English through online, in our spare time we can learn it without having to put effort to go anywhere, just sit wherever it is, we can gain new knowledges. And since English has been the universal language, it is really important for people to learn English language, so it will be easier for us to survive later on. I think with the existence of EnglishTips.org, it is very helpful to improve our English skill in much easier way.
Right after opening the website, I believe this website is trying to tell us that online learning can be effective, but I personally think that this type of learning is ineffective. Admittedly, one great advantage of online learning is the enhanced access for students which is removing the barrier of commuting to a specific location at a certain time. But beside that, there are many disadvantages of online learning.
Online learning requires immense self discipline. In online learning, the students have a lot of freedom to do whatever they want without worrying about a lecturer showing up. This sort of freedom can quickly ruin a student’s focus. Another disadvantage of online learning is that some online learning institution might not be accredited. There are lots of scams which pretend to be offering courses, yet they are not licensed.
I remember the first session I had with you in which you told us about this blog. To be frankly, this is so new to me, because the previous teachers that I had back in school and also the other lecturers in UGM have different methods. I think this kind of approach is very effective, because it doesn’t necessarily an obligation, it just doesn’t feel like it, it feels like I’m learning something new every day without any burden, without having the feels that it’s an obligation. What I meant by what’s going on in this world is that this blog gives me so many informations, many of the articles involved politics, economics, it’s as if I’m unconsciously reading news. And the thing that intrigues me so much is the fact that this blog has other involving relationships, friendships, this is a really good platform for us to express ourselves because it teaches us to be more vocal with our opinions/ thoughts.
