I found the podcast “A Future Without Doctors?” to be quite fascinating. I found it interesting that one day the machine would replace the task of a doctor. The podcast continued with how the University of Oxford had created a machine that could identify if a freckle is cancerous or not. I think the involvement of technology in the medical field would help so many doctors treat their patients efficiently with no errors. However, I personally think that when it comes to surgery, technological machines would not be able to replace the doctor’s task. What I mean when I said that is that the machine wouldn’t be able to do a full surgery without the help of a doctor or nurse. They could help make things easier for doctors, but they won’t be able to perform the whole surgery by itself. This is because surgery requires the ability to think, which for now only a human being could do.
After listening the podcast title “Why can’t teenagers get out of bed in the morning?” I have better understanding about the way I grow as a socially awkward teenager. Now I understand why many of my friend afraid to sit on the front row in the class and why I have very big problem with my sleep at night. So basically, my problem with sleep and having a hard time socializing are rooted in my brain. In other word I have to enjoy every bad thing about being teenagers. But as a teenager, I have more creativity than adult according to the podcast at least. well with all that, I don’t agree with statement that teenagers generally grumpy because I know I am not grumpy at all. Although about the messy room, it’s so true that I can only laugh about the fact it’s become stereotype for teenager around the world.

ReplyDeleteYou need the plain present tense "can" rather than the past tense "could".
