The first time I opened the website, I suddenly remembered one of the best discussion forums in Indonesia. This well-known website is known as Kaskus. Kaskus is the biggest discussion forum in indonesia. This platform also includes an online shop. Theoretically Indonesia has so many discussion forum like bulutangkis.com , forum-id.com , and etc. My question is that from those forum how many of them that still active and has a lot of audiences ?
After I surfed in the http://www.livinginindonesiaforum.org/ I have an idea to merge this website with Kaskus or doing some collaborations. For me this is will be the great concept to keep this platform stay alive. This forum basically has an interesting concept, it becomes the place for us to share our experience as an Indonesian , the Indonesian lifestyle , discussion some important topic ,giving an advice , and sharing some interesting things from indonesia. But still to make this platform more interesting and stay alive, it is better to collaborate with the others.
I was honestly shocked when I first opened this website like, wow, I didn't know such website exists! Reading about what foreigners thoughts about Indonesia is always an interesting thing to do for me. It is like I am looking at Indonesia from a whole different side. I opened the website and I read an article about "How to Make Friends in Indonesia" and the one who wrote it actually wrote a lot of things to do to make friends with Indonesians. One of them commented "Be careful my friend , you will many people women and men , in tourist areas who see foreigners as walking atms , unfortunately in many developing countries it is the same , you will need to spend a longer time to understand the people and their motivations ." I was completely at a loss for words. Other user commented "Do these girls are friend with me because im a tourist and i have more money ?" I laughed when I read this one because once again, I didn't know what to say. Anyway, it was such a fun thing to do; to read such article.
