...well, she found them on the internet, but they're interesting! Have a go at solving them. Don't look up the answers (I will provide them in a week from now, here). Or you can suggest riddles of your own. Or discuss riddles. Or... whatever you want! (I think there are some repeats. Ignore them. This was difficult to upload and arrange!)
I think I want to discuss about riddles. Since the answer will be posted in a week after this comment has been posted anyway, talking that is relevant about it is enough for now. So, for me, riddles are puzzles or jokes in which you ask a question that seems to be nonsense but which has a clever or amusing answer, or you can describe something as a riddle if people have been trying to understand or explain it but have not been able to. For me, it’s hard to solve riddles because I’m not that kind of person who would think out of the box in a short period of time, it’s just won’t do, although I can get the answers after a long-think about it and when I’m done, everyone would probably be somewhere else already. For them who love riddles, it’s such an interesting way to have such a sense to think and solving the riddles. But from what I know, by solving it, those sensations are the best thing that you can get.
I love riddles because they assess your brain ability. For this week’s blog comment, I am going to have a go at answering some of the riddles posted above. These are what I thought to be the correct answers but please correct me if I am wrong.
“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?” The answer is the letter ‘e’.
“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently. How can this be?” The answer is because she was born on the 29th of February therefore she could only celebrate her birthday every four years.
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?” I think the answer is echo.
That is all that I am going to answer. I am looking forward for the answers to be uploaded!
I am currently bored therefore I will have another go at answering more of these riddles!
“Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?” The answer is the word ‘incorrectly’ itself.
“What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?” This one is similar to the one I answered in the previous comment. The answer is the letter ‘m’.
“A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms; the first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?” I think the answer is the third room; a room with lions who haven’t eaten in years. This is because the lions cannot survive not eating for years therefore they must be dead.
I have a riddle for anyone reading this, if you know the answer to this, comment down below. Here it goes: I am going around the world. First, I go to Australia, then I go to Russia, then I go to Oman. Where do I go next?
When I got bored I often solve some riddles, and these riddles that Adrian posted make me think hard to solve it. I am going to answer some of the riddles that are posted, and I hope I got that all right.
“ 16, 06. 88, ?, 98.” What is the ‘?’ I think the answer is 87, because that’s a parking space and you must read it upside down.
“ A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms…..” Answer: The safest room is room number 3 because the lion is already dead due to starving
“ A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently.” How can this be? Answer : she was born on 29 February 1948 which was a leap year.
“ A man is found murdered on a Sunday Morning…..” Answer: The maid murdered the man because postman doesn’t delivered mail on Sunday.
That’s all the riddle that I can answer, and I’m waiting for the answer to be upload!

Eventhough sometimes you have to think hard and sometimes it makes you feel stupid, in the end, riddles is just a fun brain game for me. Playing with words on riddles is fun, but I have other type of riddle that is also fun to solve. For example, mystery crime riddles. Though some people said that that kind of riddle made you a psycopath, I believe it just stimulate your brain to think outside of the box. I would like to recommend you guys to solve these riddles https://brightside.me/wonder-quizzes/7-mystery-crime-riddles-only-a-true-detective-can-solve-374160/ , I also have my favorite riddle website but it is in Bahasa so I guess I'll just skip that website. Anyway, I recommend this article to Mr. Adrian but I still don't know the answers for lots of the riddles above, so let me solve them too. (Yes, I recommend the article to you but I still hasn't read all of it yet. Only like 1/3 of it.)
"How is seven different from the rest of the numbers between one to ten?" maybe because it is the only number with two syllable
"Two girls ate dinner together. They both ordered ice tea. One of them drank them very fast and had finished five in the time it took the other to just drink one. The girl who drank one died while the other survived. All of the drinks were poisoned." How did the girl who drank the most survive? Probably the poison is in the ice???? I think I have read something similar with this questions long time ago.
I am here to give you a few answers of the riddles! Sorry, not all because it’s too much.

We hurt without moving. We poison without touching. We bear the truth and the lies. We are not to be judged by our size. What are we? “Words”

Two girls ate dinner together. They both ordered ice tea. One girl drank them very fast and drank five of them in the time it took the other to drink one. I’ve been playing and answering riddles since i was in junior high school. A lot of tricky riddles can be found here, but if you pay enough attention and think about it for some time, you’ll eventually figure out the answers for the riddles. I think i can guess a few of this riddles. The first one is ‘I stay in the corner but travel around the world’. My guess is stamp. Stamp always stays in the corner of a postmail, and it can travel around the world whenever it was delivered. The second one is ‘What rock group has 4 guys that doesn’t sing’. Mount Rushmore is the answer. The ‘rock group’ doesn’t refer to rock bands, but refers to rock (stone) formation. Mount Rushmore have 4 faces of the US presidents that were carved in the mountain’s rock group. The last one is about the wife who ‘shoot’ her husband and after that they both have dinner together. The woman ‘shoot’ her husband in a form of shooting his picture, in an old camera, and then put the film under the water. It means that the husband is still alive because he was being ‘shooted’ with a camera.
I love questions with veiled meanings like riddles. Although I’m not a prodigy in solving riddles, I found it quite interesting to talk about. It is because the answer to all riddle questions are surprising. Riddles are always seen as a game by many people; but in my opinion, it has more to it than just a game or a puzzle being played for fun. Riddle is actually great for training and assessing your brain; and it takes a lot of practice to be exceptional at solving it. Now that I’ve given my opinion about what riddle is, I’ll try to solve one of the riddles shown in this article.
“16, 06, 68, 88, ?,98.” What is the ‘?’?
I think that the answer to this riddle is 78 because if you take a look at the numbers upside down, you will find a sequence with difference value of one.
I really love riddles, when i’m bored i sometimes play with riddles or play games that makes me think. I want to give a few answers from the riddles. They all might not be right, but I think that it is the answer for the riddles.
“16, 06, 68, 88, ?, 98” We would first need to change our point of view, we can do that by flipping our laptop or handphone upside down then we would see a pattern. It would be “86, ?, 88, 89, 90, 91”, and from this sequence we would know that the answer is 87.
“I stay in the corner but travel around the world. What am I?” The answer is a stamp, because a stamp always stays in the corner of a letter and the letter can travel the world.
“What rock group has four men that don't sing?” The answer is mount rushmore, the national memorial.
“1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211” What is the next number in the sequence? My answer is 13112221. Why? Because the sequence is explaining the number before it. For example, in the first sequences there is only one 1’s, there for the second sequence would be 11 (one 1’s). Same goes for the third sequence, in the second sequence there are two 1’s, thus it is 21 (two 1’s). Now for the last sequence, there are one 3’s (13), one 1’s (11), two 2’s (22), and two 1’s (21). Put them all together, you will get 13112221.
“ A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently.” How can this be? The answer is because she was born on the 29th of february. This date only shows once in four years.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?” The answer is your left elbow, because you can't reach your left elbow with your left hand, but you can with your right hand
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and i will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?” The answer is an echo. You can only hear an echo but you will never see it, and an echo happens only when there is another source of sound, that's why it said “...i will not speak back until spoken to.”
“What is the largest Island in the world before Australia was discovered?” The answer is Australia, because even before it was discovered, it was still the largest island in the world.
“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?” The answer to this riddle is the letter e. It’s the first letter in the word earth, it is the second letter in the word heaven. There are two e’s in the word week, and there is only one e’s in the word year.
I’m going to add a few answers for this riddles, just because i find riddles very interesting.
“A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms: the first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years.” Which room is the safest?
The answer to this question is the third room. Why is the third room the safest? Because in the third room, there are lions who hasn’t eaten in years. They won't survive days without food. Imagine years. Therefore, the answer is the third room.
“This belongs to you, but everyone else uses it.”
The answer to this riddle is name. Your name belongs to you, but you don't call out your name as much as others calling it. So it is yours but others use it more often.
Now here’s a riddle for you. What gets wet while it dries?
I don't really want to answer all of those riddles which many I already know the answers of, instead I want to tell a little fun fact about me regarding to riddles. I have playing riddles since I was a little girl. I used to be a very clever one to answer riddles given by my friends at that time, but I think I lost that ability when I began my high school year. Later then, I've encountered to some very tricky riddles that I spent a week or two to solved it. There is this movie call The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey that has riddle-playing scene played by Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and Golumn (Andy Serkis). I really enjoyed that part of the movie. I think the riddles are very simple yet so clever. My favorire one was thrown by Golumn: This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats high mountain down. The answer is Time. Simple answer yet so powerful, right?
Riddles are really fun to do especially when you are bored. My dad and my sister love riddles, they like to randomly give me riddles during the day. We also like to look up riddles or watch it on youtube and try to solve them together.
“A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?” It’s the room with the lions. Since they haven’t eaten in years, they would’ve already been dead. “I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?” The letter E “This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?” The word ‘Short’, add E and R and it becomes ‘Shorter’ “What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?” The letter R
I would like to answer a few more riddles, since my sister and I was exchanging riddles a few days ago and some of the riddles I asked her was from this article. I even found out some of the answers myself whilst reading it to her.
“Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?” It’s the word ‘incorrectly’. “What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?” The letter ‘M’. “First, think of the colour of clouds. Next, think of the colour of snow. Now, think of the colour of a bright full moon. Now answer quickly, what do cows drink?” This riddle is very tricky when asked face to face. The person asked will think about the white clouds, white snow, and the white full moon. This will lead them to answer that cows drink milk, since it’s also white. But it should be water, because cows produce milk.
“How many letters are in the alphabet?” There are 8 letters in the word ‘alphabet’. It’s tricky because the answer we would most likely say right away is that there are 26 alphabet letters. “A is the sister of B, B is the brother of C, C is the father of D. So how is D related to A?” I remember this riddle or something similar to it and how I was trying to find the answer. I even drew on a ‘graph’ to help me with it. Now I’m not sure if it’s the right answer but I’m thinking that A is the aunt of D. “First you eat me, then you get eaten. What am I?” A fish bait. “Why is seven different from the rest of the numbers from one to ten?” ‘Seven’ is the only number in the range that has two syllables, the rest only has one.
“What was the largest island in the world before Australia was discovered?” I am still not sure with this answer but I think that this is a trick question, Australia has always been the biggest island. “What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?” Your left elbow. “Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?” An echo. “We hurt without moving. We poison without touching. We bear the truth and the lies. We are not to be judged by our size. What am I?” Words. “When you need me, you throw me away. But when you're done with me, you bring me back. What am I?” An anchor. “You measure my life in hours and I serve you by expiring. I’m quick when I’m thin and slow when I’m fat. The wind is my enemy?” Candle.
When i was in highschool riddles has always been the solution when boredom comes in the middle of classes or even when studying for a regular test. Im interested in reading riddles when i am bored because that not only its also fun when reading riddles and solving them but it also helps your brain to work even when your bored so at the same time you're boredom can be quite productive. My most favorite riddles is horror riddles and mystery riddles. The reason why i like horror and mystery genres is that it gives me the feeling of adrenaline when knowing the real answer. I usually read horror riddles with my friends late at midnight to add the feeling of adrenaline more. When it comes to searching riddles i try to find horror and mystery riddles that are combine. It has been one of the most fun activities me and my friends did for the last two years.
Riddles are one of those thing you do when you are bored or you need something different to mix up your activities during the day. It's sort of an ice-breaker but with a more logical aspect in it; sometimes it drives people crazy but thats the whole point of an ice-breaker, it makes you think outside the box. I am not a fan of riddles myself but when I come across a riddle I always try to solve it because it's fun and thats basically the sole reason why I solve riddles.
"19,06,68,88,?,98? The answer is 87 because in this riddle, it's all about perspective, flipping our device upside down might help as it turns out this riddle is a sequence of number.
"what can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?" The answer is your left elbow, this is pretty easy I suppose, try holding your left elbow with your left hand it's almost impossible.
First of all, i will only do the math one because it is the most interesting for me and challenging in the same time. I will explain my answer as simple as i could and how to solve it. And after i tried it, i gave up and did searching on the internet. The result is so schocking, no wonder i can not answer it. It is not solved by the number’s available pattern, we need to look the number upside down. Thus the answer will be L8 which representing 87 when it is upside down. It is just a row of numbers from 86 to 91. I do not even bother to try the second one, number riddles just are not the same as logical math that tested on exam for entering university. For the “what am i” riddles; “I am the first on earth, the second in heaven”, i think the answer is the amount of “e”? The rest of “what am i”, unfortunately, i just can not answer it.
I want to discuss about riddle. Personally, I really like riddles, especially when I was still in my high school. My friends and I loved to read riddles on internet, and asking each other to solve it.It was very fun, interesting, and challenging at the same time for me. When we knew a riddle, we liked to asked our friends for their answer, sometimes, their answers were not make sense, and we liked to teased them by not giving the answers and made them feel curious, that was the interesting part. Every time I knew a riddle but did not knew the answer, I feel very curious, and I will search for the answer. And now, here I am trying to solve the riddle that Sabrina found on internet. I will solve as much as I can without looking to the answers. The first one from the top, the answers is 87, this is very common in internet, and mostly they provide us with the picture of parking lot.
‘I stay in corner but travel around the world’ is definitely a stamp. ‘A woman was born in 1948 but celebrated her 16th birthday’ happens because she was born on the 29th of February. The safest room is the third room, which consists lions who haven’t eaten in years. ‘ The first on earth and the second in heaven’ is the alphabet ‘e’. ‘ A woman shoots her husband.. ‘ , the woman is a photographer, it means she took a picture of him. ‘Many have hard me but nobody has seen me’ the answer is an echo. ‘word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly’ is the word incorrectly itself. ‘what comes once in a minute, twice in a moment…’ is the alphabet m. I think thats all that I can answer, actually I can answer those riddles not because I’m smart, but it is because I have known those riddles before.
I’ve always loved riddles, when I was a child I used to solve them with my father. So here I will try solving some of the ones mentioned above. In the first one, the missing number is 87, to find it you have to look at the numbers of the sequence upside down. Then, a stamp travels around the world in the corner of an envelope. The next number in the sequence: 1,11,21,1211,111221,312211 is 13112221. We have to read the sequences out loud to find it; the first line is one 1 (1 1), so the next one will be 11 which are two 1 (2 1), so the following line will be 21… If a woman born in 1948 is only celebrating her 16th birthday it is because she is born on the 29th of February. 29th of February only occur on leap years, therefore this woman celebrates her birthday only once every four years.
The safest room to choose is the third one: if the lions haven’t eaten in years they will be dead. The largest island before the discovery of Australia was still Australia. It is not because the island hadn’t been discovered that it didn’t exist. Concerning the man that was found murdered on a Sunday morning, I would say that the murderer was the maid. Her alibi was that she was getting the mail, however there is no mail service on Sundays. The word that becomes shorter when adding two letters to it is the word short. The following letter of the combination OTTFFSS is E; the letters are the first letters of the numbers: One, Two, Three, Four… the next number is Eight. The thing that comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years is the letter M. The word always spelled incorrectly in the dictionary, is the word incorrectly itself.
I want to start off by saying thank you to Sabrina for providing us with this interesting article filled with intriguing riddles. I want to start off by saying that I have always loved riddles. I have always been a fan of things that makes you think things you never thought of. Riddles are kind of like an exercise for your brain because it helps you think outside the box. Sometimes the answer tends to be nothing like what you have imagined or guessed which what makes riddles interesting and fun to solve. Sometimes, when a riddle is really hard to solve once you found out the answer, you usually end up feeling really amazed and amused by the answer that you received. I think what makes riddles really interesting is the way it makes people think and solve those riddles. Some come up with answers that make zero sense and some come up with answers that are even more clever than the actual answer itself.
I love riddle because it gives you the “i’m smart” feeling when you are able to solved it, and i also love it because it’ll allow your imagination to gone wild in order to to explore all the possible answer. Therefore, i have decided to choose riddle “a murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three room…”. In this riddle, the answer will be room number three where there is lion who haven’t eaten in years. Why? its simply because a lion would never be able to survive for a years without eating, therefore the lion should already been dead, and room number three will be the safest choice for the murderer to escape. The second riddle that i choose is the “a woman shoot her husband…”. In this riddle, the word “shoot” have a meaning of photography shoot, meaning that the woman is actually taking a picture of his husband, put the picture on the water (old method to produce a photo), then hangout with his husband for a dinner afterwards.
Yoo I love riddles!! After doing a quick scan of this article, I’ve noticed that a lot of them are new to me. So here are my answers to some of them:
“16, 06, 68, 88, ?, 98.” An easy start. Looking at the numbers upside down, the answer is 87.
“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently. How can this be?” Simple, she was born on a leap year.
“What was the largest island in the world before Australia was discovered?” I’ve seen a different version of this riddle; the answer is still Australia. Just because it wasn’t discovered, doesn’t mean it wasn’t the largest.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?” My guess is: your own right hand? Or anything involving your right arm.
“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year.” I hate riddles where the answer is within the questio/words, they’re the cruellest. Took me a while but the answer is E.
“This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?” It’s SHORT. Add ‘ER’ to it and it becomes SHORTER. Another one of those riddles with the answer in the question.
“When you need me, you throw me away. But when you’re done with me, you bring me back. What am I?” Easiest out of all, my ex?
Last set of answers to the riddles before I go to bed for my session 3 Friday class. Thank you Sabrina for these riddles!
“1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211 what is the next number in the sequence?” This one really hurt my head to start off. The answer is 13112221. We have to spell out the amount of numbers. So it goes like: one (3) – one (1) – two (2) – two (1).
“A murder is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms: the first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?” Fam, can you survive years without eating? Or at least just a year? The answer is no because you’d die, which means the third room is the safest because all the lions are dead. Also, say no to animal cruelty please!!
“If it’s information you seek, come and see me. If it’s pairs of letters you need, I have consecutively three. What am I?” I’m not sure about this one but I’m sure it’s something related to computers or the internet. Perhaps Gooogle is the answer?
“What word in the English language does the following: the first two letters signify a male, the first three letters signify a female, the first four letters signify a great, while the entire word signifies a great woman. What is the word?” He, her, hero and then heroine. Simple yet great riddle.
“A girl has as many brothers as sisters, but each brother has only half as many brothers as sisters. How many brothers and sisters are there in the family?” I love math riddles! You can answer this by creating a formula or mentally. There are 7 brothers and sisters altogether in the family.
“What disappears as soon as you say its name” Me. I can get paranoid.
“This belongs to you, but everyone else uses it.” Yeah, my loving and caring.
Riddles are really fun to solve when you’re looking for something to do when you’re bored. Not only that it gives you something fun to do, but riddles also exercise your brain since you are forced to come up with a clever answer. Riddles pattern varies depending on the type of riddle you are given. There are those who play with words like boat riddle where four men were fishing on a boat on a lake and they sank to the bottom of the lake but not a single man got wet. The clue for this riddle lies at the ending phrase “but not a single man got wet”. Thus, the answer to the riddle is because everyone got wet, which is why not A SINGLE man got wet. The riddle tricks the reader with the word choice. There are also riddles that train your memorization of small details like the drinking riddle. Where two girls order iced tea and one of the girls drank 5 iced tea at a time while the other only drank one and they found out that all the iced tea are poisonous but only the girl who drank the most survive. Well, the answer to this riddle lies within a small detail. The answer to why the girl, who drank 5 iced tea survive is the possible fact that the poison comes from the ice. One of the girls survives because she finishes her iced tea before letting the ice melt into the drink, which can cause the drink to be poisonous. Overall riddles usually have a pattern and you can solve them by thinking critically and cleverly.
These are the possible answer to the riddles above that I TRIED to solve, so please excuse my mistake, if there were any wrong answer. If any of the answers here is wrong then feel free to comment below for the right answer.

Question: What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? Answer: the letter R
A riddle is a statement question or phrase put forth as a puzzle to be solved. There are two types of riddles: enigmas, which are problems expressed in metaphorical or allegorical language and conundra, which are question that has a pun in either the question or the answer. I puzzle over how the first riddle was made, which was probably the result of one’s boredom. Riddles are also mostly used as a remedy for our boredom. This is the only time I feel obligated to do riddles because I would like to share my own personal answers in this EWS blog.
“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently. How can this be?” As we know, there are 365.25 days in a year and every 4 years there are 366 days. That year is called a leap year. In a leap year, the additional day (Leap Day) is intercalated into the month of February. Maybe it just happens that the woman was born in 29 February 1948, so she can only celebrate her birthdays every four years.
“What gets wet while drying?” The answer is towel.
“A girl has as many brothers as sisters, but each brother has only half as many brothers as sisters. How many brothers and sisters are there in the family?” There are 4 sisters and 3 brothers in the family. Each sister would have 3 brothers and 3 sisters but each brother would have 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
“What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?” The answer is the letter ‘r’ because it is in the middle of both March and April.
“This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?” The word is ‘short’ and if you add ‘er’ at the end of the word it becomes ‘shorter’.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left hand?” The answer is your left elbow because you can reach your left elbow with your right hand but not with your left hand (unless you are super flexible).
I love riddle because it is fun to solve. Sometimes we need to think so hard to solve one and when we know the answer we feels so stupid, but riddle always interest me.
For the first riddle, “16,06,68,88,?,98 what is the ‘?’?” The answer is L8, because when we see the number upside down, it become 86,?,88,89,90,91. we know that the missing number is 87. Remember we need to write it upside down!
“I stay in the corner but travel around the world. What am I?” I think the answer is stamp.Because stamp placed on the corner of every mail but it actually travel to wherever it send to.
“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently. How can this be?” the answer for this riddle is she was born on 29 February. As we all know that we will have 29 February every 4 years.
I will answer some more.. I choose this riddle because i have once read about it. “A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms: the first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?” The answer is he have to choose the third rooms, because inside is just dead lions, When lions haven’t eat for years they must be dead already right?
“ A woman shoots her husband, then holds him under water for five minutes. A little while later, they both go out and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?” The answer is actually the woman taking and developing a photograph of her husband.
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?” the answer of this riddle is an echo.
I like this kind of riddle, “ I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?” the answer is word ‘e’. As ‘e’ is the first word on ‘earth’, second word on ‘heaven’, appear twice on ‘week’ and appear once on ‘year’.
“A man is found murdered on a Sunday morning. His wife calls the police, who question the wife and the staff, and are given the following alibis; the wife says she was sleeping, the butler was cleaning the closet, the gardener was picking vegetables, the maid was getting the mail, and the cook was preparing breakfast. Immediately, the police arrest the murder. Who did it and how did the police know?” the answer is the maid, the police know that the murderer is the maid because there is no post deliver in Sunday.
“Four men were fishing in a boat on the lake. The boat turned over and all four men sank to the bottom of the lake. And yet, not one single man got wet. How can this be?” the answer is because all four are married, so there was no single man to get wet.
“two girls ate dinner together. They both ordered iced tea. One girl drank them very fast and had finished five in the time it took the other to drink just one. The girl who drank one died while the other survived. All of the drinks were poisoned. How did the girl who drank the most survive?” the answer is because the poison in the ice. The girl who drink five glasses of iced tea drink so fast before the ice melt, on the other hand the girl who drink one glass of iced tea drink slowly and the iced also slowly melted poisoned the tea.
To be honest this post is interesting for me because it’s about riddles, not about sometimes-long texts that we have to read (even though sometimes the topic is interesting as well). It’s actually really entertaining to think for the answer which sometimes is unimaginable. I often spend my time playing riddles and other quizzes that are fun to solve when I’m bored. And when I can answer it without any help, it gives me the satisfaction of being able to think outside the box. But you might feel desperate if you can not think of the right answer, and it just makes you feel stupid, even though sometimes the questions are tricky, that we can’t answer it because we’re thinking too hard, and it’s surprising you when you know the answer that is actually right in front of you. It’s so challenging when you tried to find the simple yet unthinkable answer of a question.
I have some riddles that I would like to post, since I just realised that I can suggest some riddles of my own. These are just some riddles I came across on the internet or the one that my dad and my sister had told me. “What has 4 fingers and a thumb, but is not living?” “I have keys but no locks. I have a space but no room. You can enter, but can not go outside. What am I?” “Every night I’m told what to do, and each morning I do what I’m told. But I still don’t escape your scold. What am I?” “I am as big as you are, yet does not weigh anything. What am I?” “Until I am measured, I am not known. Yet how you miss me, when I have flown. What am I?” “What is it that you break when you say anything?”
“Two children were born on the same day from the same mother but they are not twins. How is that possible?” “Ten ladies tried to fit under a small umbrella, but none of them got wet. How did they do it?” “It's shorter than the rest, but when you're happy, you raise it up like it's the best. What is it?” “There is a brother and a sister. The boy wants to visit his father in jail, and the sister wants to visit her mother in the hospital. But they both are not allowed in the jail or hospital. All they have is a gun. What do they do?” “What is so delicate that saying its name breaks it?” “On a fine sunny day a ship was in the harbor. All of a sudden the ship began to sink. There was no storm and nothing wrong with the ship yet it sank right in front of the spectators eyes. What caused the ship to sink?”
I have one riddle that I remembered my dad told my family quite a long time ago, at dinner. It’s something like “There are two sisters who went to their mother’s funeral. There, they met a guy and both of the sisters fell in love. When the funeral’s over, he left. The next day, the elder sister killed the younger sister. Why did she do that?” My mother and sister immediately answered “Because she doesn’t want the younger sister to get the guy?” and my dad said the answer was wrong. After a few seconds thinking, I answered “Because she wants to see the guy again, and by killing her sister the guy might come to the funeral”. My dad stayed quiet and shock for a while before saying “Oh my God, I can’t believe you got that. People say that this riddle can only be answered by people who have a psychopathic mind. I didn’t even know the answer when my friend asked me.” I still think about that time and I don’t know why but I find it kind of funny.
Since I was in junior high school, I really like to read riddles and always try to figure out the answers. I am the type of person who get stressed whenever I cannot solve the riddles so, I will try my best to get the answer. Maybe some people do not really know what riddle is. Basically, riddle is a question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game. Although it is just a game, people still need to think about the answers. Sometimes the answer could be just a really simple think but it is unthinkable, but there are also riddles that are easy to guess. The riddles that I usually try to solve is horror riddles and I usually find many horror riddles in Kaskus. Reading riddles is so much fun for me because it makes me super curious about the answer and the harder it is the more challenging it is.
I will try to guess some of Sabrina’s Riddles, and I think the answers are not so hard to guess because they are common riddles. Here are the answers: I stay in the corner but travel around the world. What am I? Answer: stamp I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I? Answer: the letter e What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left? Answer: your left elbow I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I? Answer: The letter E Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly? Answer: Incorrectly. This belongs to you but everyone else uses it. Answer: Your name. What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? Answer: the letter R
I have one creepy riddle: In college, I have dorms with my roommate, Becky. She was sweet and always had my back. I thought of dating her, but I have absolute zero chance. An example that she was sweet is whenever I’m busy studying, Becky would order food for me. Soon enough the final exams were creeping in. I didn’t see my roommate; maybe she took longer to achieve my dinner. Suddenly, there was a faint knock on the door. I opened the entrance to see a note on a zinc white box. The note reads: “sorry I couldn’t be there! I have some beef stew for you!” I went back inside and took a small sip of the stew. This can’t be ordered! I wondered if Becky made this. It was over a week and the exam is tomorrow. Every night I studied and beef stew kept coming. I was distracted to realized that I haven’t seen her in a week! The next day, I went inside the class to not be greeted by Becky. I passed with flying colors, and later I hope to thank her for the stew. I think the answer is that Becky has died and she kept making beef stew from her own body every night for the writer. It is easy to guess for me, but if I imagine that the writer ate Becky’s meat it is soooo gross and scary.
After seeing so much comments on this blog post, I decided to give the riddles a go without looking at other people’s answers in their comments. Ive done one riddle and here comes the others. I would also like to add my commentary for each riddle so I can be a bit different from the others. (Q stands for question, A stands for answer and C stands for comment) Q: A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest? A: It’s the room with the lions. Since they haven’t eaten in years, they would’ve already been dead. C: This riddle is actually old, because I’ve been asked this since primary school and back then it was hilarious for me. I rarely hear this riddle anymore as a lot of people already know the answer to this riddle.
Q: I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I? A: The letter E C: First I thought about the existence of a certain being, but I think it is impossible to know what was the first on earth. Then I started to look into the letters and I found out that the letter E is a perfect answer for all of the clues. Q: This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?” A: E and R C: This riddle was a bit easy for me because the answer is contained in the question of the riddle. The question stated that the word becomes shorter when we add two letters, and, in the beginning, it is a five letter word, so obviously shorter-er is short therefore the addition is E and R.
Q: What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? A: The letter R C: I struggled a bit on this riddle because I immediately thought of what season it is on March and April and what happens in the middle of March and April, but I can’t think of anything. That is when I see the letters on the word March and April and came up with the answer R. Q: Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly? A: The word “incorrectly” C: This is also a bit easy for me, because I know for a fact that there is no misrepresented word in a dictionary that is spelled wrongly, due to the effort given to write them and also it is very unlikely for a word to be always spelled wrongly, so the only word that is spelled incorrectly is the word incorrectly itself.
Q: What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years? A: The letter ‘M’ C: Due to the fact that a lot of riddles preceding this one is also using the same pattern of word playing, I got the answer to this riddle quite quickly. Q: First, think of the colour of clouds. Next, think of the colour of snow. Now, think of the colour of a bright full moon. Now answer quickly, what do cows drink? A: Water C: I was in primary school when I got asked this by a friend of mine and I quickly answered milk. This riddle works best when asked face to face or via video call because the person must answer almost instantly and spontaneously. The person asked will think about the colors of the clouds, snow, and a bright full moon which is all white. This will lead them to answer that cows drink milk, since it’s also white. But it should be water, because only baby cows drink milk.
Q: How many letters are in the alphabet?” A: There are 8 letters in the word ‘alphabet’. C: The first time I got asked this, I answered 26 because there are 26 letters from a to z but if it is wrong then the next reasonable answer is the number of letters in the word ‘alphabet’ so I answered 8. This riddle is fairly easy, and most people would do the same thing as me. Q: First you eat me, then you get eaten. What am I? A: A fish bait. C: I slightly struggled a bit on this riddle but after a few minutes doing some google searches and web browsing here and there I found out the answer to this. It is very logical because first a fish would eat a fish bait and then the fish is caught and then the fish would then be eaten by us.
Q: Why is seven different from the rest of the numbers from one to ten? A: ‘Seven’ C: I found this riddle quite hard because I tried a few methods to find the difference of seven. First, I thought of the mathematical difference of seven but I found none. Next, I visualised the number seven as ‘7’ and how it is different from one to ten but then again I found none. Finally, I counted from one to ten and found out that seven is the only number in the range that has two syllables, the rest only has one. Q: What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left? A: Your left elbow. C: This riddle is fairly easy for me. First I tried to hold a few body parts and then I found out quite easily and it was obvious that I can’t hold my left elbow with my own left hand.
Q: What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left? A: Your left elbow. C: This riddle is fairly easy for me. First I tried to hold a few body parts and then I found out quite easily and it was obvious that I can’t hold my left elbow with my own left hand. Q: Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I? A: An echo. C: I was going to answer a soundwave but then the ‘I will not speak back until spoken to’ part got me thinking more. I thought of a mystical non existent object but I stopped myself keeping in mind that riddles are always logical, then I went to my bathroom to pee. When I was in my bathroom I whistled and got an echo. That is when I found out that the answer to this riddle is an echo.
Q: We hurt without moving. We poison without touching. We bear the truth and the lies. We are not to be judged by our size. What am I? A: Words. C: This riddle is easy and I figured it out in a matter of seconds, next please! Q: When you need me, you throw me away. But when you're done with me, you bring me back. What am I? A: An anchor. C: At first, I thought of a fishing equipment but were never ‘done’ with them because we usually reuse it. I then thought of an anchor because we need an anchor to stop the boat from moving and if were done using the anchor we bring it back to the ship. Thank you, Sabrina, for providing us with the riddles that gave me a lot to do in my free time and also talking about it at the EWS blog.
ReplyDeleteI love riddles because they assess your brain ability. For this week’s blog comment, I am going to have a go at answering some of the riddles posted above. These are what I thought to be the correct answers but please correct me if I am wrong.
ReplyDelete“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?”
The answer is the letter ‘e’.
“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently. How can this be?”
The answer is because she was born on the 29th of February therefore she could only celebrate her birthday every four years.
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?”
I think the answer is echo.
That is all that I am going to answer. I am looking forward for the answers to be uploaded!
I am currently bored therefore I will have another go at answering more of these riddles!
Delete“Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?”
The answer is the word ‘incorrectly’ itself.
“What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?”
This one is similar to the one I answered in the previous comment. The answer is the letter ‘m’.
“A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms; the first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?”
I think the answer is the third room; a room with lions who haven’t eaten in years. This is because the lions cannot survive not eating for years therefore they must be dead.
I have a riddle for anyone reading this, if you know the answer to this, comment down below. Here it goes: I am going around the world. First, I go to Australia, then I go to Russia, then I go to Oman. Where do I go next?
Uruguay, then Nigeria and then finally Denmark. Wow you must be really tired from travelling.

ReplyDeleteWhen I got bored I often solve some riddles, and these riddles that Adrian posted make me think hard to solve it. I am going to answer some of the riddles that are posted, and I hope I got that all right.
“ 16, 06. 88, ?, 98.” What is the ‘?’
I think the answer is 87, because that’s a parking space and you must read it upside down.
“ A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms…..”
Answer: The safest room is room number 3 because the lion is already dead due to starving
“ A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently.” How can this be?
Answer : she was born on 29 February 1948 which was a leap year.
“ A man is found murdered on a Sunday Morning…..”
Answer: The maid murdered the man because postman doesn’t delivered mail on Sunday.
That’s all the riddle that I can answer, and I’m waiting for the answer to be upload!

Probably the poison is in the ice???? I think I have read something similar with this questions long time ago.
That's it. I won't answer too much.

ReplyDeleteI love questions with veiled meanings like riddles.
ReplyDeleteNow that I’ve given my opinion about what riddle is, I’ll try to solve one of the riddles shown in this article.
ReplyDelete“16, 06, 68, 88, ?, 98”
We would first need to change our point of view, we can do that by flipping our laptop or handphone upside down then we would see a pattern. It would be “86, ?, 88, 89, 90, 91”, and from this sequence we would know that the answer is 87.
“I stay in the corner but travel around the world. What am I?”
The answer is a stamp, because a stamp always stays in the corner of a letter and the letter can travel the world.
“What rock group has four men that don't sing?”
The answer is mount rushmore, the national memorial.
“1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211” What is the next number in the sequence?
DeleteMy answer is 13112221.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?”
The answer is your left elbow, because you can't reach your left elbow with your left hand, but you can with your right hand
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and i will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?”
DeleteThe answer is an echo. You can only hear an echo but you will never see it, and an echo happens only when there is another source of sound, that's why it said “...i will not speak back until spoken to.”
“What is the largest Island in the world before Australia was discovered?”
The answer is Australia, because even before it was discovered, it was still the largest island in the world.
“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?”
The answer to this riddle is the letter e. It’s the first letter in the word earth, it is the second letter in the word heaven. There are two e’s in the word week, and there is only one e’s in the word year.
I’m going to add a few answers for this riddles, just because i find riddles very interesting.
Delete“A murderer is condemned to death.
My favorire one was thrown by Golumn:
ReplyDeleteThis thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.
The answer is Time. Simple answer yet so powerful, right?
Riddles are really fun to do especially when you are bored. My dad and my sister love riddles, they like to randomly give me riddles during the day. We also like to look up riddles or watch it on youtube and try to solve them together.
ReplyDelete“A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires; the second, assassins with loaded guns; and the third, lions who haven’t eaten in years. Which room is the safest?”
It’s the room with the lions. Since they haven’t eaten in years, they would’ve already been dead.
“I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?”
The letter E
“This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?”
The word ‘Short’, add E and R and it becomes ‘Shorter’
“What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?”
The letter R
I would like to answer a few more riddles, since my sister and I was exchanging riddles a few days ago and some of the riddles I asked her was from this article. I even found out some of the answers myself whilst reading it to her.
Delete“Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?” It’s the word ‘incorrectly’.
“What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?”
The letter ‘M’.
“First, think of the colour of clouds. Next, think of the colour of snow. Now, think of the colour of a bright full moon. Now answer quickly, what do cows drink?”
This riddle is very tricky when asked face to face. The person asked will think about the white clouds, white snow, and the white full moon. This will lead them to answer that cows drink milk, since it’s also white. But it should be water, because cows produce milk.
“How many letters are in the alphabet?”
DeleteThere are 8 letters in the word ‘alphabet’. It’s tricky because the answer we would most likely say right away is that there are 26 alphabet letters.
“A is the sister of B, B is the brother of C, C is the father of D. So how is D related to A?”
I remember this riddle or something similar to it and how I was trying to find the answer. I even drew on a ‘graph’ to help me with it. Now I’m not sure if it’s the right answer but I’m thinking that A is the aunt of D.
“First you eat me, then you get eaten. What am I?”
A fish bait.
“Why is seven different from the rest of the numbers from one to ten?”
‘Seven’ is the only number in the range that has two syllables, the rest only has one.
“What was the largest island in the world before Australia was discovered?”
DeleteI am still not sure with this answer but I think that this is a trick question, Australia has always been the biggest island.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?”
Your left elbow.
“Many have heard me, but no one has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?”
An echo.
“We hurt without moving. We poison without touching. We bear the truth and the lies. We are not to be judged by our size. What am I?”
Words.
“When you need me, you throw me away. But when you're done with me, you bring me back. What am I?”
An anchor.
“You measure my life in hours and I serve you by expiring. I’m quick when I’m thin and slow when I’m fat. The wind is my enemy?”
Candle.
ReplyDeleteRiddles are one of those thing you do when you are bored or you need something different to mix up your activities during the day.
ReplyDelete"19,06,68,88,?,98?
The answer is 87 because in this riddle, it's all about perspective, flipping our device upside down might help as it turns out this riddle is a sequence of number.
"what can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?"
The answer is your left elbow, this is pretty easy I suppose, try holding your left elbow with your left hand it's almost impossible.
ReplyDeleteI want to discuss about riddle.
ReplyDelete‘I stay in corner but travel around the world’ is definitely a stamp.
DeleteI’ve always loved riddles, when I was a child I used to solve them with my father. So here I will try solving some of the ones mentioned above.
ReplyDeleteIn the first one, the missing number is 87, to find it you have to look at the numbers of the sequence upside down.
Then, a stamp travels around the world in the corner of an envelope.
The next number in the sequence: 1,11,21,1211,111221,312211 is 13112221. We have to read the sequences out loud to find it; the first line is one 1 (1 1), so the next one will be 11 which are two 1 (2 1), so the following line will be 21…
If a woman born in 1948 is only celebrating her 16th birthday it is because she is born on the 29th of February. 29th of February only occur on leap years, therefore this woman celebrates her birthday only once every four years.
The safest room to choose is the third one: if the lions haven’t eaten in years they will be dead.
DeleteThe largest island before the discovery of Australia was still Australia.
ReplyDeleteI want to start off by saying thank you to Sabrina for providing us with this interesting article filled with intriguing riddles.
ReplyDeleteYoo I love riddles!! After doing a quick scan of this article, I’ve noticed that a lot of them are new to me. So here are my answers to some of them:
ReplyDelete“16, 06, 68, 88, ?, 98.” An easy start.
Delete“1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211 what is the next number in the sequence?” This one really hurt my head to start off.
ReplyDeleteThese are the possible answer to the riddles above that I TRIED to solve, so please excuse my mistake, if there were any wrong answer.

ReplyDelete“A woman was born in 1948 but only celebrated her 16th birthday quite recently.
“What gets wet while drying?”
ReplyDeleteThe answer is towel.
“A girl has as many brothers as sisters, but each brother has only half as many brothers as sisters. How many brothers and sisters are there in the family?”
There are 4 sisters and 3 brothers in the family. Each sister would have 3 brothers and 3 sisters but each brother would have 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
“What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?”
The answer is the letter ‘r’ because it is in the middle of both March and April.
“This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?”
The word is ‘short’ and if you add ‘er’ at the end of the word it becomes ‘shorter’.
“What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left hand?”
The answer is your left elbow because you can reach your left elbow with your right hand but not with your left hand (unless you are super flexible).
I love riddle because it is fun to solve. Sometimes we need to think so hard to solve one and when we know the answer we feels so stupid, but riddle always interest me.
ReplyDeleteFor the first riddle, “16,06,68,88,?,98 what is the ‘?’?” The answer is L8, because when we see the number upside down, it become 86,?,88,89,90,91. we know that the missing number is 87.
DeleteI choose this riddle because i have once read about it.
Delete“A man is found murdered on a Sunday morning.
Delete“two girls ate dinner together.

ReplyDelete“What has 4 fingers and a thumb, but is not living?”
“I have keys but no locks. I have a space but no room. You can enter, but can not go outside. What am I?”
“Every night I’m told what to do, and each morning I do what I’m told. But I still don’t escape your scold. What am I?”
“I am as big as you are, yet does not weigh anything. What am I?”
“Until I am measured, I am not known. Yet how you miss me, when I have flown. What am I?”
“What is it that you break when you say anything?”
“Two children were born on the same day from the same mother but they are not twins. How is that possible?”
Delete“Ten ladies tried to fit under a small umbrella, but none of them got wet. How did they do it?”
“It's shorter than the rest, but when you're happy, you raise it up like it's the best. What is it?”
“There is a brother and a sister. The boy wants to visit his father in jail, and the sister wants to visit her mother in the hospital. But they both are not allowed in the jail or hospital. All they have is a gun. What do they do?”
“What is so delicate that saying its name breaks it?”
“On a fine sunny day a ship was in the harbor. All of a sudden the ship began to sink. There was no storm and nothing wrong with the ship yet it sank right in front of the spectators eyes. What caused the ship to sink?”
I have one riddle that I remembered my dad told my family quite a long time ago, at dinner. It’s something like
Delete“There are two sisters who went to their mother’s funeral. There, they met a guy and both of the sisters fell in love. When the funeral’s over, he left. The next day, the elder sister killed the younger sister. Why did she do that?”
My mother and sister immediately answered “Because she doesn’t want the younger sister to get the guy?” and my dad said the answer was wrong. I didn’t even know the answer when my friend asked me.”
I still think about that time and I don’t know why but I find it kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteI will try to guess some of Sabrina’s Riddles, and I think the answers are not so hard to guess because they are common riddles. Here are the answers:
DeleteI stay in the corner but travel around the world. What am I?
Answer: stamp
I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?
Answer: the letter e
What can you hold in your right hand, but not in your left?
Answer: your left elbow
I am the first on earth, the second in heaven. I appear twice in a week, though you can only see me once in a year. What am I?
Answer: The letter E
Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?
Answer: Incorrectly.
This belongs to you but everyone else uses it.
Answer: Your name.
What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?
Answer: the letter R
I have one creepy riddle:
ReplyDeleteIn college, I have dorms with my roommate, Becky.
(Q stands for question, A stands for answer and C stands for comment)
ReplyDeleteQ: A murderer is condemned to death.
What am I?
ReplyDeleteA: The letter E
C: First I thought about the existence of a certain being, but I think it is impossible to know what was the first on earth. Then I started to look into the letters and I found out that the letter E is a perfect answer for all of the clues.
Q: This five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it. What is the word?”
A: E and R
C: This riddle was a bit easy for me because the answer is contained in the question of the riddle. The question stated that the word becomes shorter when we add two letters, and, in the beginning, it is a five letter word, so obviously shorter-er is short therefore the addition is E and R.
Q: What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?
ReplyDeleteA: The letter R
C: I struggled a bit on this riddle because I immediately thought of what season it is on March and April and what happens in the middle of March and April, but I can’t think of anything. That is when I see the letters on the word March and April and came up with the answer R.
Q: Which word in the dictionary is always spelled incorrectly?
A: The word “incorrectly”
C: This is also a bit easy for me, because I know for a fact that there is no misrepresented word in a dictionary that is spelled wrongly, due to the effort given to write them and also it is very unlikely for a word to be always spelled wrongly, so the only word that is spelled incorrectly is the word incorrectly itself.
Q: What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?
ReplyDeleteA: The letter ‘M’
C: Due to the fact that a lot of riddles preceding this one is also using the same pattern of word playing, I got the answer to this riddle quite quickly.
Q: First, think of the colour of clouds. Next, think of the colour of snow. Now, think of the colour of a bright full moon. Now answer quickly, what do cows drink?
A: Water
C: I was in primary school when I got asked this by a friend of mine and I quickly answered milk.
Q: How many letters are in the alphabet?”
ReplyDeleteA: There are 8 letters in the word ‘alphabet’.
ReplyDeleteA: ‘Seven’
C: I found this riddle quite hard because I tried a few methods to find the difference of seven.

What am I?
ReplyDeleteA: Words.
