And eaten lobster that wasn’t pink
I don’t want sausage that’s eternal
Give me apples with imperfect skin
Don’t get me wrong
I’m a meat eating man
I’m no big dumb bird
With his head in the sand
I’m a little red rooster
Tapping dirt for his worms
And the worm is turning
I’ve seen alsatians wearing lipstick
And smelt the monkey smoking "Lark"
Why are those babies in those bottles?
We’ll need two Humans for the zoo
Don’t get me wrong
I’m a red blooded man
I’m no bleeding heart
With his head in his hands
I’m a little red rooster
Tapping dirt for his worms
And the worm is turning
I’ve seen a dolphin with no children
I’ve seen a fish float on its side
I’ve seen my bacon shining brightly
It is my beacon in these TV dinner times
I'm eating meat that makes me fall down
There's a funny feeling in my tummy
I don’t think the chemistry is right
Don’t get me wrong
I’m no mouse I’m a man
I will stand up to them
I’ll kick face in their sand
I’m a little red rooster
Tapping dirt for his worms
But the worm is turning
Yes the worm is turning
Into me
A poem being of a classic topic of individual’s evolving into something. To start off, I admire this poem of lowering down the values of the individuals but giving reasoning behind them, the classic hypocritical thinking of human where they want something different but still following exactly what he is hating. But in reality, this is the reality where people do what they are against sometimes. But what more do we need to evolve besides mistakes that we realize? In my opinion, humans are not perfect and they make imperfections that sometimes do not suite other people but the challenge is that do they realize? To get yourself closer to the paradigm of perfection, we need to realize what of use is imperfect and while accepting, try to improve as much as possible and just enjoy life even when it is not perfect, that is the perfect journey of all humans.
