Wow, a website where you could find beautiful roads to go biking in Netherlands. It’s actually very pleasing to see some photos of roads that are so calm and beautiful, my parents actually study in the Netherlands for a decade. They told me stories of biking for kilometers on end, but didn’t seem to get so tired because of the scenery and the relatively calm atmosphere of the road users. I guess the website just goes to show what sorts of roads the people can experience in there,
Its like a different world when you compare the transportation scene in the Netherlands and what goes on here in Indonesia, where roads are filled at with lots and lots of motorized transportations that are seem to be driven by road ragers, and people who don’t seem to regard safety the way it is supposed to be. I hope one day, I’ll be able to experience the biking experience here in Indonesia
The website is basically show you about the cycling life in Netherland. It shows the infrastructure that supports the bicyclist in Netherland, the beautiful view, the main and some alternative routes for bicyclist, and in addition, the website is written by a professional bicyclist whose been using bicycle for almost 40 years in Netherland. Looking at the website, i can tell that Netherland is such a heaven for those bicyclist out there, and i believed that this condition can be achieved due to the dedication of their government to supports the bicycling life in Netherland. As a country, Indonesia should learn from the way Netherland manage and treated the bicyclist. Although there are a few location that seemed to be decent for the bicyclist, but still here in Indonesia, i can tell that the bicyclist wont stand a chance against those cars and motorcycle that overpopulated our country, and also there still no actual action that supports the bicyclist entirely here in Indonesia.
